![]() ![]() ![]() Georgeanne was quite unlikeable in the first three chapters. As with that time, the only option was for her to go to Charm school and hopefully marry a rich guy. ![]() Her mother abandoned her and she didn’t know who her father was so her grandmother raised her. She has dyslexia and because she grew up in a time when these things weren’t discussed, it was thought that she was, well, dumb. This is probably one of the first books that I can safely say that character development was done to perfection! There are just too many likable and interesting characters that it was super easy to get into. It’s just that I am a little bit used to romances with a higher steam factor. But as much as it felt dated, it still stands the test of time in my opinion. It is pretty obvious that Simply Irresistible was published in 1998. This is my first Rachel Gibson book and I was charmed! Simply Irresistible by Rachel Gibson had all the pop culture references which was full of nostalgia and OMG! I love it!
